Just before Christmas, I was contacted by an alum at 762 Millimeter to do a logo job.
His client was a start up Air BNB company called Pillow who was looking for some branding via a logo and possible product design. They had already decided that they wanted the logo to be a feather and 762 Millimeter wanted me to bring some more illustrious option to the table.
Here are some of the feathers I came up with:
I was given freedom in terms of style. The brief included some current designs that had already been drawn out so I expanded on those and added a bunch of different styles as well.
After round one, we honed in on a few that really matched the branding and I went back to tweak and revise:
Then on to the final round of edits:
Here are a few of the semi final designs with the text part of the logo (designed by 762 Millimeter):
The first of the above three was chosen to pitch to the client and they were pleased with it. I also did a bunch of pattern designs for a pillow mockup using the feathers I drew to pitch as potential merchandise for the company to sell:
UPDATE: Pillow's site is live! And with it is my little feather design!
So exciting to see it live!
